ONE GERM BECOMES MANY How Colds Are Spread It may bo only one little germ, or microbe, that floats into your system with the air you breathe. But onco lodged amongst the numerous tiny cavities of nose, throat or lungs, germs multiply rapidly. The warm, moist conditions provido an ideal breeding ground. The presence of large numbers of germs inflames the mucous membranes lining the nose and throat, and causes these membranes to “ respond ” by flooding the breathing passages with mucus or phlegm. And you have I 1 caught a cold ” ! There has recently been evolved a new scientific treatment for colds. With the aid of Karsote Inhalant, it is possible to nip colds in the bud by killing off germs as they enter the system. The actual germ-killing effect of Karsote on cold-causing germs is shown in magnified diagram below.
