The only match set down for this week-end is the second round of the championship. Members are notified that this match must be played either on Saturday afternoon or during the following week-end, as the links will be required for the match with the Nelson Club competing for the Teams’ Cup. In the match with the Nelson Club, Heath plays Stedman, Stringer plays Burrell, Drogemuller pltyys Thomas, Smith plays J. A. Mitchell, Painter plays Sinclair, Petigrew plays Davis, Webley plays R. Goodman, Thorp plays R. Griffin, Cameron plays Kerridge, Pocklington plays J. W. Mitchell, Stratford plays Fell, Stihvell plays Bradshaw. GOLF ETIQUETTE Members’ attention is drawn to the following rule, breaches of which have been much in evidence on the local links. No one should stand close to or directly behind the ball, move or talk when a player is making a stroke. We particularly refer to the section relating to talking.
