NELSON COLLEGE OLD GIRLS’ ASSOCIATION
BRANCH FORMED IN MOTUEKA A meeting of old girls of Nelson College residing in the Motueka distiict was held in St. Thomas’s Sunday schoolroom on Friday afternoon, when it was unanimously decided to form a local branch of the Old Girls’ Association. Oilicc bearers were elected as follows: President, Mrs G. W. Boundy; vicepresidents, Mesdames Thorp, Buckeridge and Crossman; secretary, and treasurer, Miss D. Edwards; committee, Mesdames A. Wratt, Gifford, H. llolvoake, V: Holyoake, Misses G. Jordan, J. Stratford, 0. Wallace and E. Chapman. Apologies for unavoidable absence were received from Mesdames Hobson, Henderson, Strachan, C. Barnett, Kerr, F. Knowles, J. Goodyer and Misses Trolove, D. Edwards, P. D. and R. Beatson, J. Scott, J. and A. Ryder, and W. McKee. It was decided to hold a social evening about the middle of September.
