OIL FROM ORANGES
Tlie Agricultural Department of South Africa estimates that the country produces 35,000 tons of oranges unsuitable for export, or even for local consumption. It is.now studying 'what is done with this surplus in other , lands where oranges are grown. The rind, the juice, the seeds, and the pulp all have their uses, the chief product being an extract of oil. It is hoped that this product can he marketed at a paying price.
