KREUGER CRASH
DISASTROUS EFFECTS SWEDISH MATCH COMPANY (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, Bth June. The “Daily Mail’s” city editor says that the disastrous effects of the Kreuger crash are disclosed in the Swedish Matcli Company’s report, one of the most extraordinary documents of joint stock finance. The directors state it is impossible to close the books with the exactitude the law requires. Provisional accounts disclose a stupendous loss in 1932 of £29,000,000. The company’s claim against the Kreuger estate is entered as one kroner. The Kreuger-Toll and the International Match Company, both bankrupt, make huge claims against the Swedish Match Compayn, which the latter company lias repudiated.
