BRITAIN’S PAYMENTS TO UNITED STATES British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 4th April. In reply to a question regarding Britain’s war debt payments to the United States, and receipts from other countries, Mr Chamberlain said that including the payment of £29,000,000 on the 15th December, Britain’s payment to the United States would amount altogether to £355,200,000. Britain’s receipts from foreign war debts were £71,100,000, and reparations £121,300,000, making a total of £192,400,000. These figures include both principal repayments and interest.
