Board of Trade returns for January, are-Imports £54,123,000, exports £20,206,000, re-exports £4,180,000. Principal decreases were—imports animals for food £700,000 other food and drink £3,603,000; other textile materials £004,000; hides and skins £366,000; iron and steel manufactures £023,000. Exports; machinery, £746, 000; woollen and worsted manufactures £206,000.
