MOUTERE RIDING
(To the Editor) Sir, —At tho last County Council meeting Councillor Tceco asked that the camp !at Rabbit Island bo continued until | March, as there was plenty of work to | do, I am informed that the County intends to dispense with the services of I the permanent roadmen in the Moutere Riding for several months, and this when there is plenty of work to do on many by-roads. Should the ratepayers be asked they would certainly dose the camp ton Rabbit Island, where some are earning more than many farmers, and doing less work, and have their by-roads put in proper order for the coming busy fruit season. —1 am, etc., ) COX ORANGE, Upper Moutere, 10th December.
