MATCH WITH TAKAKA In the teams golf match with the Takaka Club during the week-end Nelson were successful in winning four of the four-balls, one being squared, and in the singles secured nine wins and one loss. A number of the match were closely contested. The results were, Takaka names first: Scott and Hill lost to Fletcher and Cull, Wright and Emms lost to Davis and Iloby, Murray and Tunnicliff lost to Dawson and West, Milward and Parkinson lost to Bradshaw and Kerridge, Kirk and Pollock and Harley and Travers all square, Scott beat Fletcher, Hill lost to Cull, Wright lost to Davis, Emms lost to Hoby, Kirk lost to Harley, Pollock lost to Travers, Murray lost to Dawson, Tunnicliff lost to West, Millward lost to Bradshaw, Parkinson lost to Kerridge.
