TRADE RELATIONS NO- NEGOTIATIONS PENDING EMPIRE CONFERENCE ‘British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 2nd May. Questioned whether the Governmentwould invite representatives of Denmark to confer regarding a commercial treaty whereby Denmark in return for importing an increased quantity of British materials and manufactures would become entitled to some of the advantages enjoyed by the British dominions and colonies. Major Colville, for the Board of Trade, said that no negotiations would be undertaken until after the Ottawa Conference.
