MAY BE DISSOLVED IF HIGH COURT ACTION FAILS “POSSIBILITY OF REVOLUTION” (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-Copyright) (Received 16th April, 0 a.in.) SYDNEY, This Day. In the event of the High Court deciding against the New South Wales Government on a motion to compel the banks to pay all State moneys paid to the Commonwealth, the Governor will dissolve the State Parliament. This view is expressed by well-inform-, ed people. It is believed that the Governor is extremely perturbed at the possibility of revolution, trade unions having announced their intention to take their place “in the fight which is impending,” and he is accordingly enlisting aid from returned soldiers, and placing the united organisation at the disposal of the Premier. EMBARGO ON TOTALISATOR NO REVENUE FOR COMMONWEALTH SYDNEY, loth April. The Premier’s Office to-day notified the Moorefield Racing Club that the totalisator must not be used at tomorrow’s races. This prevents the Commonwealth from obtaining revenue from this quarter. The Lang Government has also placed an embargo on the totalisator at forthcoming pony meetings.
