MEETING OF DELEGATES NEW PRESIDENT ELECTED At the annual meeting of delegates to the New Zealand Rugby' Union the apparent satisfaction wit lithe work of last year’s Management Committee was reflected in its re-election, notwithstanding that (lie services of several other able men were offered in the contest for flic seals. EPLA CEMENT OF PLAYERS Mr N. McKenzie (Hawkes Bay) asked whether tile chairman would give a direction as to players being allowed to leave the field at half-time, and also on tho question of tlio replacement of injured players. Mr 11. Harris (Otago): “Do the laws of the game prevent players from being replaced?” Voices: “No.” Mr Lamb (Wairarapa) moved and Mr A. J. Griffiths (Wellington) seconded, “That the replacement of injured players be allowed subject to agreement between the opposing captains.” Mr Little (East Coast) suggested the adoption of the arrangement made with the New South Wales team last y f ar allowing replacements up to,, half time.
