BARNICOAT AND RUTHERFORD FIRST EQUAL The Nelson College House swimming sports were concluded yesterday afternoon, a keen contest resulting m a tie between Rutherford and Barnicoat Houses, 23 points each. ' The relays were, as usual, hard fought, enthusiastically supported events. In the results the Houses are denoted by the following letters in parentheses: R, Rutherford: W. West - E. East; C Country; B, Barnicoat; F, Fell. Results : 60 Yards Senior: Latter (R) 1; Alabin (\V) 2; Gould (E) 3. 100 Yards Senior: Tout (C) 1; Henderson (B) 2; Flanagan (C) 3. 200 Yards Senior: Rodie i (B) 1; Page (R.) 2; Irwin (F) 3. 50 Yards Junior : Marsh (R) 1; Martelli (B) 2; Marks (E) 3. 100 Yards Junior: Dixon (Ej 1; Hansen (W) 2; Murphy (B) 3. 150 Yards Junior: Neville (B) 1; Cummings (R) 2; Greenem (E) 3. Senior Relay: Barnicoat 1; Rutherford 2; West /3. Intermediate Relay: East 1; West 2; Rutherford 3. Junior Relay: East 1; Rutherford 2; West 3. The points total’ were : Rutherford 23, Barnicoat 23, East 16i, West 131, Countiv 7, Fell 2.
