TRENTHAM RIFLE MEETING
TODAY’S SHOOTING BELT MATCHES COMMENCED (By Telegraph—Press Association) TRENTHAM, This Day. Difficult shooting conditions were experienced at Trenitham this morning, when the series of championship belt matches was continued. A variable left wind required careful watching and nearly every shot called for alterations in elevation. The Wellington match, 500 and 600 yards, was won bv W. H. Ballinger (Petone) with a score of 96. Second and third places were filled by H. Simonds (Auckland) and J. C Feast (Greytown) respectively. Other scores—Kenning 92, Sharland 91, Russell 84.
