ißy Telegraph—Preßs Association) TIMAIIU, sth August. A largely attended meeting of unemployed to .night considered the question of affiliating with the recently-formed Dominion Unemployment Union. It was decided by 50 votes to 15 not to have anything to do with it. During the discussion the chairman stated that ho had advised Mr W. Nash, Parliamentary Secretary of the Labour Party, to have nothing to do with the now organisation. Several speakers slated that the recent demonstrations at Wellington and Christchurch were organised by Communists as part of a world-wide campaign arranged for Ist August.
