WELLINGTON HOSPITAL BOARD
EXPENDITURE ON RELIEF STRAIN ON FINANCES (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The strained position of the Wellington Hospital Board in tho matter of providing unemployment relief was placed before Mr Forbes by a deputation from the board pointing out that at the present rate of expenditure the board could not carry on relief after the end of Sep lumber. Mr Forbes promised to consider further assistance for the board.
