LOAN COUNCIL
STATE TREASURERS' ATTITUDE OPPOSED TO FURTHER HELP MELBOURNE, sth August. The Loan Council met to-day. It was unanimously opposed to recoinmending any further money for New South Wales at' the present juncture. The matter will probably be finalised to-morrow. Delegates furnished reports regarding the measures being taken in the various States to give effect to the rehabilitation plan.
