SHAMROCK WINS KING’S CUP (British Offloial Wlraleßs) RUGBY, 4th August. Tlio race for the King’s Cup at Cowes was won by Sir Thomas Tipton's Shamrock in 4 hours 16 minutes. Tt was (he first timo that Sir Thomas Liplon had been able to enter for this trophy. Tho King’s cutter Britannia was scratched from the race by llis Majesty, following the accident yesterday when tho second mate was swept overboard and drowned.
