ANNUAL MEETING OF N.Z. ASSOCIATION (By Telegraph—Press Association) ASHBURTON, This Day. The New Zealand Boxing Association s annual meeting opened, the president, Mr 11. D. Johnston, presiding. The report stated that the year began with a credit of £1770 and ended with a credit of £2028. After a long discussion tho conference approved of tho principle that associations be permitted to pay professional boxers on a percentage basis, and appointed a committee to draft tho necessary amendments to tho rules, reporting tomorrow morning.
