CONFERENCE AT PALMERSTON U)v Telegraph—Tress Association) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The conference of officers of the Department of Agriculture and others interested in grassland research resumed this morning when it was decided to form an association for tho advancement of grass farming. Officers elected were: —President, Mr A. 11. Cockayne; secretary and treasurer, Mf It. P. Connell; lion, auditor. Mr C. 11. Sclnvass; committee, Messrs A. W. Hudson, F. L. Scrivener and J. W Hadficl 1. it was resolved that the first annual meeting be held at Lincoln College in December.
