QUESTION IN HOUSE (From “The Mail’s" Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, sth August. Mr W. E. Barnard (Labour, Napier) gave notice to ask tho Postmaster-Gene-ral how soon ho proposes to bring down legislation to deal with radio broadcasting. “It is understood,” he said, “that the New Zealand Radio Broadcasting Company has reeoiyed from tho Government a total sum of nearly £300,000, ond that no information has been made public as to how much of this amount lias been expended on actual service and how much on capital expenditure, etc., recoverable by the company or in other ways profitable to tho company only.”
