“ALBERT” WATCH CHAINS
Whcrt. Pfinco Consort visited, .the Birmingham Art Exhibition of 1846 the jewellers of that city presented to him a gold watch-chain of beautiful workmanship. Unlike previous kinds, it was to be worn from the buttonhole and secured there by a small bar. Such chains were called after the Prince—Albert.
