EASTHAMPTON TOURNAMENT (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) VANCOUVER, 3rd August. c At Easthalnptbii in the tennis semifinals to-day Mrs Shepherd-Barron defeated Miss Mary Greef ((Kansas City) 4-6, 6-3, 6-2; Mrs John Van Ryn defeated Airs Marion Zintfersteiu Jessup (Wilmington, Delaware) 6-4, 10-8. In the doubles Aliss Phyllis Aludford and Miss Betty Nutthall entered the final, defeating Miss Alice Alarble and Miss Dorothy Weisel (Sacramento) 6-1, 6-3. They will meet Aliss Marjorie Alorrill and Mrs Jessup. Tlie two English combinations Miss Betty Nutthall and Aliss Phyllis Aludford and Airs Whittingstalb and Aliss Dorothy Round reached the-sertii-finals, together with two American pairs, Airs JeSsup and Aliss Alarjorie Morrill, and Miss Penelope Anderson and Miss Mary Greef.
