STEAMER ASHORE
NEAR NOUMEA (United Press Association—By Electric Tolegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 18th June. The island steamer La Boron,se is reported to he stranded on a reef near Noumea, but is in no immediate danger. There are forty Sydney passengers aboard. It is expected that the vessel will float off at high tide.

Advice has boon received t lint tbe steamer La Perousc was refloated after being ashore for 24 hours at Amodes Island. The vessel reached Noumea.
