LIMUTKIN r ' \ %{ CONTEST ON WEDNESDAY NEXT The Nelson Wrestling Association has been fortunate in securing the class of wrestlers who will appear at their opening contest to -he held at the Theatre Royal on Wednesday next when Harry Demetral, the Greek champion, and Peter Limutkin, the giant Finn, will meet. Demetral is one of the star members of tlie team of American wrestlers who arrived at Auckland on Monday last. He weighs 185 lbs, and has a very fine record, having drawn with Clarence Ekluiid and beaten Tom Alley. Peter Limutkin, the giant Finn, is already known to fans in-New Zealand bv liis two sterling performances against the redoubtable George Walker. Limutkin lias'not met Demetral before and the public of Nelson should witness a good match for tlie introduction of the sport to the town. The Wellington Association is sending an instructor by to-night’s boat. Ho will spend liis time till the match with local amateurs and for the benefit of those patrons who may not be familiar with the latest methods of wrestling, will give a demonstration of the various holds before Hie main contest next Wednesday. Three amateur preliminaries have been arranged.
