SOLDIERS' PENSIONS

THE 10 PER CENT. CUT (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. While the 10 per cont. cut is to be applied to returned soldiers’ economic pensions it is stated on the authority of the Commissioner of Pensions that the maximum cannot exceed three shillings per week, as it only applies to soldiers’ economic pensions and does not touch the economic pension of his wife and children.
