Soiling lioi' home in Sydney because she learnt that her husband was ill in England, Mrs Arthur Roxton arrived in London to face destitution owing to the suspension of payments by the Governriient Savings Hank. Air Roxton is'a sailor'whose savings were placed in the State Hank. He fell ill after a voyage from Australia. The Roxtons called on the New'South Wales Agent-General, Mr A. G. Willis, who was unable to help thorn, pointing out that he had no authority to make payments until the. agreement between I lie State and the Commonwealth Hank was finalised..
