If this proportionate rate of increase continues the world’s requirements in 1041 will lie no less than 82 million tons! '[’l,js tremendous rate of consumption, coupled with the fact that the world’s supplies of soft "'cod timber are rapidly dwindling indicates that Hie forests planted by New Zealand Perpeutal Forests Ltd. in the- interests of the bondholders will he sold at peak prices! Even on present day figures £25 invested in a bond should have a value of at least £250 in from 12 to 15 years time.
