WAIMAI CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Waiinai Hockey Club was held in the Institute, rooms. There was a good attendance of members. The president, Mr B. Trathen, was in the chair. The annual report and balance was read and adopted. Five new members were elected to the club.

The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, the Hon. W. W. Snodgrass M.L.C.; president, Mr B. Trathen (re-elected). Vice-president, Messrs S. C. Cummings. C. C. Chapman, J. A. Archibald, A. J. Shallerass, B. Holbrook, P. Howcroft, A. C.. Hunt and J. W. Russel!.' lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr C. C. Hunt. Club captain, Mr H. Perrin. Selection committee, Messrs O’Callagaban; Pen-in, and team captain. Management committee, O’Callaghan, McKegney, Vaughan, Perrin, Bush and the secretary. Delegates to the N.11.A., Messrs Perrin and Vaughan.

It was resolved that the subscriptions for seniors he the same as last year, 6s increased to 7s 6d if not paid by May. It was decided to make an attempt to field a junior team this year if sufficient inducement offers. Players interested are requested to communicate with the secretary as soon as possible. The senior team will start practising almost immediately and hope to arrange a match with a Blenheim team before the championship fixtures commence.
