MAITAI CAMP

AT EASTER Among the many camps being held at Easter is the annual camp of the Nelson Methodist Young Men’s Bible Class Union, at the Maitai Reserve. Being a Union Camp it will be attended by young men from all over the district. Preparations are almost finalised: tents have been pitched, firewood collected. and a final camp committee meeting will he held to-morrow evening. Campers will arrive in camp on Thursday evening and the official programme wiil commence on Friday morning. Physical training under the camp SergeantMajor followed bv breakfast, tent parade and study circles will occupy the morning. There will be tramps in the afternoon, with a service and debates in the evening. _ . , , Saturday is visitors day. It is hoped and expected that there will be a good attendance of visitors, for whom there will be a ’bus running. Sports will be commenced in the morning and continued in the afternoon. An early tea will be provided for visitors. A concert will be held in. the marquee m the evening.
