His totals comprise 26 wins, 14 seconds, and 11£ thirds. W. Duncan is second on the list with 242wins, 16 seconds, and 16 thirds. Newmarket Handicap scratchings are; Dominant, Zanzibar, Knight’s Favour, Kartanj Top o’ the Morn, Antonelle. Pliar Lap carries 9.7 in Saturday’s Essendon Stakes and Glare 8.2. JOCKEYS SUSPENDED FOR CARELESS RIDING SYDNEY, 23rd February. The Australian Jockey Club stewards held an inquiry into the cause of interference in two races at Warwick Farm on Saturday and at Atenangle Park. Jockeys Wyeth and Abbott were suspended for careless riding, the former for a month and the latter for two months.
