THROWN FROM HORSE
FARMER DIES FROM INJURIES (By Telegraph—Press Association) TE KUITI, This Day. Charles 11. Holmes, a well-known farmer of Teanga, was thrown from his horse which bolted yesterday, and he received a compound fracture of the thigh. When he was lying helpless on the ground some bulls approached the scene, and attempted to reach Holmes, but his dogs kept them bacK. The unfortunate man was lying on the ground for some time before rescued by hi/, brother. He was taken to hospital where complications ensued, and he died last night. He leaves a wife and several children.
