METHODIST CONFERENCE
PRESENTATION OF REPORTS (Lty Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, This Day. The Methodist Conference continued this morning, when a number of reports were presented. It was stated that the assets of the church totalled £22,250. Lay representation at the conference was extended to include presidents of the young men’s and young women’s Bible class movement, and the president of the Methodist Women’s Missionary Union. The fire insurance fund totalled £600,000. The new business for the year was a record and amounted to over £IOO,OOO. Church membership was reported to nuber 24,629; junior members 7724; attendance at public worship bo,000; Maori membership 7000.
