TRADING COUPON COMPANIES
REGULATIONS GAZETTED (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. It was stated by the Prime Minister last evening that regulations had been gazetted restraining trading coupon companies from disposing of their assets without the consent of tire Minister of Industries and Commerce. The Government recognises that trading coupon companies and retailers have acted in good faith in sale, purchase and distribution and redemption of the trading noupons, but has framed regulations with a view to protecting their interests and the interests of the public holding coupons.
