POSTPONEMENT IN STRICKEN AREAS (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, stated last evening that the Government propose to bring down appropriate legislation during the special session of Parliament for postponing the date of the local elections in towns stricken by the earthquake disaster.
