MINIATURE GOLF
Over 150 players were on the TomThumb Links on Thursday evening when competitions were held, under medal or stroke play conditions. First round scores of up to 49 by the ladies, and up to 46 by the men entered the finals, these being returned by:—Ladies— Mesdames Hooper. Murphy, Crackett, Sinclair, Misses Flair, James, E. Burdon, A. Burdon, Houghton and Rathhone. Men—Coote, Atkinson, Sexton, E. E. Stevens. Natta, Gill. Buttress, Sinclair, Heal, Livingstone, Cochrane, H. C. Sanders, C. Sanders, Kenning, Burridge and Mcllwraith. The finals were won by Miss Rathbono with 44, followed by Mrs Sinclair (handicap plus 1). and Miss Roughton with 47’s, and Cochrane 47, followed by E. E. Stevens and 11. C. Sanders with 48,
