THIRD RACE FOR SANDERS CUP ABANDONED (By Telegraph—Preßs Association) DUNEDIN. This Day. _ The weather was perfect at Dunedin for the third race for the Sanders Memorial Cup. Light and variable winds and calms prevailed, however, and these conditions caused the race to be abandoned, and prevented the Auckland boat, Avalon, from registering an easy win. The race was sailed over a windward to leeward course. Two races will be sailed to-day if necessary.
