DEVOURED BY WOLVES

(Received 19th February. 8.30 a.m.) BUCHAREST. 18th February. A magistrate and priest in the village of Paramurai, were driving a sled when a pack of wolves driven from the mountains bv severe weather followed their trail. The men drove off the first attack by shooting two wolves. The pack then fled, hut the magistrate and the priest left the sled to secure the wolves’ carcases, leaving their rifles behind. Jhe frightened horses bolted when, the wolves returned. , A rescue party found the men s skeletons.
