FISHERIES DISPUTE

The Japan-Soviet fisheries dispute is rapidly approaching a crisis. Vladivostok has notified companies that the time lias expired for licenses and that no further applications will he entertained. The Tokio Government sent a strong protest to Moscow requesting the Soviet to consider the dispute in the light that their action is considered a breach of treaty.
