NGATIMOTI
EARTHQUAKE RELIEF A public meeting was held in the Ngatimoti Hall to decide how best to assist the Earthquake Relief Fund. Mr C. B. Brereton was voted to the chair. Dr. Green afld Mr Treveita came up from Motueka and explained what was being done there. The meeting decided to follow out their suggestion and elect a committee to canvass the district for money, produce and clothing. The Women’s Institute Committee offered to take charge of the clothing. The following, with power to add to their number, were elected to the committee :—Messrs Geo. Beatson, .F. Mayes, A. L. Guy, W. Kenyon, C. B. Brereton, H. Williams, V. Davey. 0. C. Best, Mesdames S. Llewellin, Allen Brereton, A. L. Guy, Geo. Beatson, 0. Ilolyoake, E. N. Burrell. Dr. Green and Mr Trevena were accorded a hdarty vote of thanks for attending the meeting.
