JAN KUBELIK COMING TO NELSON
The world’s greatest living violinist, Jan Kubelik y> ill give two recitals in the School of Music on 18th and 19th November. Playing on his famous Stradivarius “The Emperor” (an exquisite instrument), Kubelik has thrilled and charmed with his perfect technique, and in London a huge audience of 7000 sat enthralled by his.mastery of an instrument that lias a universal appeal. Til New York, too, 5000 Americans paid tribute to the wonder violinist of the age. Tne New Zealand tour is under the aegis of Messrs. J. and N. Tait, Mr Claude Kingston personally supervising. Mr Otto Ilasa is accompanist.
