PAHIATUA, This Day

A big milking shed with milking plant, electric motor, and 40 tons ol nay, belonging to Ernest S. Holdaway, of Ballance, was destroyed by fire late on Saturday night. The insurance was £7BO in the State office.

The fire seems to have started in two places. The brigade found a trail of paper laid on the floor for a distance of four feet. Marks on the outer wall point to someone having gained access through a window.
