AUSTRALIAN COAST SHIPPING SEVERELY BATTERED ' FLOOD WARNINGS ISSUED (United Press Association—By Electrio Toiasraph'MJopyright) SYDNEY, 2nd June. Trapped in the centre of a cyclone the steamer Cardross, which arrived at Sydney last night, ' was pounded by mountainous seas and was hove to for sixteen hours off Jervis Bay.
