A message received at Havana from Eckener indicated that due to lack of fuel; the Zeppelin may not make the detour via Havana. The decision depends! on winds. A radio message received at Washington indicated that the Grafs position at noon was about 170 miles north and east of Cape Orange, Brazil. A Lakehurst report states that the Graf Zeppelin will reach there to-mor-row morning from Pernambuco. Eckener advised that because of shortage of fuel it would not call at Havaiia. The airship passed San Juan this morning. It was sighted by the steamer Coamo at 9.30 this morning 303 miles north of San Juan, having averaged 88 land miles an hour since leaving that town as a result of following winds. Warning of bad storms off Tampa, Florida, has been issued by the Weather Bureau.
