GIRL IN COURT
IDLE AND DISORDERLY CHARGE (By Telograph—Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. Mavis Withell (19) described on the charge sheet as a music teacher, was charged with being an idle and disorderly person with insufficient means of support. Senior-Detective Hammond said that the girl ran away from the South Island with two young men, and had been living in the same house with them in Auckland. The Magistrate adjourned the case for one month on the girl's promise to'remain with an aunt.
