MUSSOLINI'S RECENT OUTBURST EFFECT IN FRANCE DROPPING OF NEGOTIATIONS WITH ITALY (United Press Association—fly Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) PARIS, 29th May. As a result of Signor Mussolini's violent speeches it is unlikely that the French Government will resuino negotiations with Italy at present. The Note from Rome will remain unanswered until more favourable circumstances. "Pertinax" in the "Echo de Paris" says that now Italy has shown that she intends to persist in her original naval programme France will be constrained to revive hers, and even reinforce it considerably."
