MUSIC IN THE AIR
The scientific marvel which lias shown us its inventor playing tunes by merely waving his hands in air. is certainly an amazing development. It may, in time to come, result in concert platforms tilled with rows of the little electrical boxes which produce the notes, and symphonies played without any instruments save the hands whose movements determine the pitch of those notes. But thai time is probably so far off that for a long time to come this new invention will be most famous as an extremely clever use of soundwaves, and our music-making; will continue In demand our attention to familiar instruments.
