OBJECTION TO CHANGE OF DATES

WELLINGTON, This Day. In her report to the Board of Governors yesterday, Miss Greig, headmistress of Wellington Girls’ College, said that she had discussed the proposed changing of dates of the long vacation, as suggested by Sir Thomas Sidey, with several principals, and the majority preferred to leave ‘ the. holidays as they were. The main difficulties were the stabilising of Easter and traditional holidays -at Christmas and New Year.
