NELSON DOG TRIALS ASSOCIATION

MINTING OF COMMITTEE A committee meeting of the Nelson Doy Trials Association was iliVld at Tapawera. There were present: Messrs O. Fenemor (president), A. MxOallum, A. Kerr, G. L. Mead, D. Kerr, A. Kinzetb, A. Wilkinson, F. W. Gibbs, G. Biggs, Allen Kerr and the secretary.

A vote of sympathy was extended to Mr F. Gibbs and family in their recent bereavement.

The secretary read a statement of accounts in connection with the recent trials, which showed a very satisfactory credit balance after allowing for a few small accounts to come in.

The. President spoke very highly of the generosity of Mi' Albert Gibbs in extending hospitality to the judge at the recent trials. Messrs L. Mead, A. McCallum, D. Kerr and the secretary also spoke of the good work done by Mr and Mrs Gibbs. It was resolved that Mr A. Gibbs be written a letter of appreciation and thanks.

The end of tho financial year will be 31st July of each year. All donors of special prizes and donations are to be thanked by advertisement.

Mr Macmahon was heartily thanked for the use of his ground. The secretary was instructed to obtain all information as to miniature cups; and also to get printed forms for the annual meeting. The following notices of motion were given for the annual meeting: That in all events where a maiden special is given the prize money bo equally divided between first prize for the event and the special for the best maiden dog. That a miniature cup be presenteYl to the winner in each event.

During the evening Mr A. McCallum gave several selections on the bagpipes, which were much appreciated.
