LONDON, 28th May. There is a growing demand for an airport centre in London. The Air Ministry, in conjunction with the London County Council is considering possible sites in Hyde Park, Regent Park, and Battersea Park. It is pointed out that the distance to Croydon adds 40 minutes to the air service from the Continent.
